  • Care instructions and usage guidelines

7.2 Handcrafted Nature and Natural Variations

Important Notice: All Aureti products are handcrafted by skilled artisans using natural fabrics including linen, khadi, and cotton.

As a natural consequence of handcrafted production:

  • Minor variations in color, texture, weave, and finish are inherent and expected

  • Slight differences from product photographs are natural characteristics, not defects

  • Each piece is unique with its own character

  • Natural fabric slubs, texture variations, and minor irregularities are celebrated features

  • Hand-stitching may show slight variations in stitch length and pattern

These natural variations are not considered manufacturing defects and are not grounds for return or refund, except as provided under Section 8.5 for genuine defects.

7.3 Color Accuracy

  • Colors displayed on screen may vary due to monitor settings, lighting, and device differences

  • We provide color descriptions to assist, but slight variations are expected

  • Natural dyes and fabrics may have inherent color variations

7.4 Disclaimer

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes and may not represent exact color or texture

  • We do not warrant that product descriptions are error-free, complete, or current

  • We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time

8. PRICING AND TAXES

9. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

We accept payments through Razorpay Payment Gateway only, including:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay)

  • Debit Cards

  • Net Banking

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)

  • Digital Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, etc.)

Cash on Delivery (COD) is NOT available.

9.5 Payment Terms

  • Full payment must be received before order processing

  • Payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR)

  • All transactions are processed through Razorpay's secure payment gateway

  • We do not store complete card/payment information

9.6 Payment Security

  • All payment information is encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology

  • Payment data is handled by Razorpay in compliance with PCI-DSS standards

  • We never see or store your complete card details

  • You are responsible for ensuring the security of your payment credentials

9.7 Failed Transactions

In case of payment failure:

  • Amount will be automatically refunded by your bank/payment provider within 5-7 business days

  • If amount is deducted but order is not confirmed, contact us immediately

  • We will investigate and process refund within 7-10 business days

10. ORDER CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER

10.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch

As per your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

  • You may cancel your order before dispatch without any charges

  • No cancellation fee or penalty will be charged

  • Full refund will be processed to your original payment method

10.2 How to Cancel

To cancel your order before dispatch:

  3. If order has not been dispatched, cancellation will be processed

  4. Refund will be initiated within 24-48 hours of cancellation confirmation

10.3 Cancellation After Dispatch

  • Once order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible

  • You may refuse delivery, and the product will be returned to us

  • Once we receive the returned product, refund will be processed as per Section 11.7

  • Return shipping will be arranged by us at no cost to you

10.4 Refund Timeline for Cancellations

  • Refunds for cancelled orders (before dispatch) will be processed within 7-10 business days

  • Refund will be credited to your original payment method

  • Bank processing time may take additional 5-7 business days

11. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

11.1 Shipping Coverage

  • We currently ship pan-India to all serviceable pin codes

  • International shipping is not available at this time

  • Some remote areas may have extended delivery times

11.2 Shipping Charges

FREE SHIPPING on all orders across India. We bear all shipping costs.

11.3 Dispatch Timeline

  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days of order confirmation and payment verification

  • Dispatch timeline excludes Sundays and public holidays

  • You will receive a dispatch notification email with tracking details

11.4 Delivery Timeline

  • Estimated delivery time: 7-10 business days from dispatch

  • Delivery time depends on your location and courier partner efficiency

  • Metro cities: 5-7 business days

  • Tier 2/3 cities and towns: 7-10 business days

  • Remote areas: 10-15 business days

These are estimates, not guarantees.

11.5 Delivery Address

  • Ensure your delivery address is complete, accurate, and includes a working phone number

  • We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect/incomplete addresses

  • Address changes may not be possible once order is dispatched

  • Please contact our courier partner directly for address changes post-dispatch

11.6 Delivery Confirmation

  • Signature/OTP may be required upon delivery

  • Ensure someone is available to receive the package

  • If delivery is attempted and fails, courier will follow re-delivery process (typically 2-3 attempts)

  • Undelivered packages will be returned to us, and refund will be processed after deducting courier charges (if applicable)

11.7 Delivery Delays

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by you

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or force majeure events

  • Courier partner delays or strikes

  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

  • Customs or regulatory delays

  • Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

11.8 Non-Delivery

If your order is not delivered within the estimated timeframe:

  • We will track your order and investigate

  • If package is lost, we will offer replacement or full refund

11.9 Inspection at Delivery

We strongly recommend:

  • Inspecting the package for visible damage before accepting delivery

  • If package is visibly damaged, refuse delivery or note damage on delivery receipt

  • Record unboxing video if you suspect damage (required for damage claims - see Section 12.5)

11.10 Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery

  • Once delivered and accepted, we are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage

12. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS

12.1 Our Commitment

We are committed to your satisfaction and comply with all consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, specific conditions apply.

12.2 Return and Exchange Window

Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 5 days of delivery (not dispatch).

This is a strict deadline and cannot be extended.

12.3 Eligibility Criteria for Returns/Exchanges

Products are eligible for return or exchange ONLY if ALL of the following conditions are met:

✓ Product is unworn, unwashed, and unused
All original tags are intact and attached (includes brand tags, size tags, care labels)
✓ Product is in original packaging with all original materials
No alterations of any kind have been made
✓ Product shows no signs of use including but not limited to:

  • Stains, marks, or odors

  • Pet hair or lint

  • Makeup, perfume, or deodorant marks

  • Wrinkles from wear

  • Any damage from customer use or negligence

12.4 Non-Returnable Conditions

Products will NOT be accepted for return or exchange if:

✗ Tags have been removed, cut, damaged, or are missing
✗ Product has been worn, even once or briefly
✗ Product has been washed, dry-cleaned, or altered
✗ Product shows any signs of use or damage
✗ Original packaging is damaged, missing, or discarded
✗ Product has been customized or altered in any way

12.5 Damaged or Defective Products

This is separate from regular returns and has different requirements.

If you receive a genuinely damaged or defective product (manufacturing defect, not natural variations):

Timeline: Notify us within 3-5 days of delivery

Mandatory Requirements:

  1. Email auretiofficial@gmail.com immediately

  2. Provide:

    • Order number and date

    • Clear photographs of the defect/damage from multiple angles

    • VIDEO of unboxing showing the damage (MANDATORY - without this, claim will not be accepted)

  3. Do not use, wash, or alter the product

What Constitutes a Defect:

  • Broken zippers, buttons, or fastenings

  • Torn fabric or seams

  • Significant staining or soiling

  • Wrong product shipped

  • Missing components

What is NOT a Defect:

  • Natural variations in handcrafted items (as described in Section 7.2)

  • Minor color variations from website images

  • Natural fabric characteristics (slubs, texture variations)

  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind

Our Response:

  • We will review your claim within 2-3 business days

  • If approved: Full refund OR replacement (at our discretion based on stock availability)

  • If rejected: We will explain why and offer alternatives if possible

Important: Claims without unboxing video proof will be automatically rejected. This is to prevent fraud and ensure genuine defect claims.

12.6 Size Exchanges

Eligibility:

  • Size exchanges are subject to availability of the requested size

  • Product must meet all eligibility criteria in Section 12.3

  • No video proof required for size exchanges

  • Must be initiated within 5 days of delivery

Process:

  1. Email auretiofficial@gmail.com with:

    • Order number

    • Product name

    • Current size and requested size

    • Clear photographs showing product with tags intact

  2. We will confirm availability within 1-2 business days

  3. If available, we will arrange pickup and send replacement

  4. If unavailable, we will offer refund or store credit

Size Exchange Timeline:

  • Pickup arranged within 3-5 business days

  • Replacement dispatched within 2-3 business days of receiving original product

  • Total process: 10-15 business days

12.7 Return Process

Step-by-Step:

  1. Initiate Return: Email auretiofficial@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery with:

    • Order number and date of delivery

    • Reason for return (size exchange/not satisfied/other)

    • Clear photographs of product with tags intact

    • For damage claims: unboxing video (mandatory)

  2. Await Authorization:

    • We will review and respond within 2-3 business days

    • DO NOT return products without our authorization

    • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted

  3. Return Authorization:

    • If approved, we will email return authorization with instructions

    • We will arrange pickup from your address (free of cost)

    • You will receive pickup scheduling details

  4. Pack Securely:

    • Pack product in original packaging

    • Ensure all tags are attached and intact

    • Include invoice/order slip if available

  5. Pickup:

    • Courier will collect from your address

    • Obtain pickup receipt/tracking number

    • All return shipping costs borne by Aureti

  6. Inspection:

    • We will inspect returned product within 3-5 business days of receipt

    • Product must meet all eligibility criteria

    • We reserve the right to reject returns that don't meet criteria

  7. Refund/Exchange:

    • If approved: Refund/exchange processed as per Sections 12.9/12.6

    • If rejected: Product will be returned to you at your expense

12.8 Rejection of Returns

We reserve the right to reject returns if:

  • Product doesn't meet eligibility criteria (Section 12.3)

  • Tags are removed or missing

  • Product shows signs of use, wear, or damage

  • Return is initiated after 5-day window

  • Return is unauthorized (no return authorization email from us)

If Rejected:

  • You will be notified via email with reason for rejection

  • Product will be returned to you

  • Return shipping charges will be borne by you

  • No refund will be issued

12.9 Refund Process

Refund Eligibility:

  • Only for products that meet return eligibility criteria

  • After successful inspection of returned product

Refund Timeline:

  • Inspection: 3-5 business days after receiving returned product

  • Refund initiation: Within 24-48 hours of approval

  • Refund processing: 7-10 business days from initiation

  • Bank credit: Additional 5-7 business days (depends on your bank)

Total timeline: Approximately 15-20 business days from product pickup

Refund Method:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method only

  • No cash refunds or bank transfers to different accounts

  • You will receive email confirmation when refund is processed

Refund Amount:

  • 100% of product price (no deductions)

  • GST amount included

  • Shipping was free, so no shipping refund applicable

Tracking Your Refund:

  • Check your original payment method (credit card, bank account, UPI app)

  • Contact your bank if refund doesn't reflect after 20 business days

  • We will provide refund reference number for your records

12.10 Store Credit (Optional)

Instead of refund, you may opt for:

  • Store credit for future purchases

  • Store credit will be valid for 12 months

  • Can be used on any product on our website

  • Non-transferable and non-refundable

12.11 Exceptions to Return Policy

The following are non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Products purchased during clearance sales (if explicitly marked as final sale)

  • Gift cards or vouchers (if applicable in future)

You may NOT, without our prior written permission:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or display any content from our website

  • Use our product photographs for commercial purposes

  • Create derivative works based on our designs or content

  • Use our trademarks, brand name, or logo

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software

  • Frame or mirror our website or create links suggesting association/endorsement

  • Extract data through scraping, robots, or automated means

  • Use our content in any way that competes with our business

13.4 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • View and download product images solely for personal reference before purchase

    • National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (for claims between ₹1 crore and above)

OR

  • Civil Courts in Bhilwara, Rajasthan

For Other Disputes:

  • Courts in Bhilwara, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction

19.5 Consumer Rights Under Consumer Protection Act

Nothing in this Section prevents you from:

  • Filing complaints with Consumer Forums at District, State, or National level

  • Seeking remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

  • Exercising any statutory rights available to consumers under Indian law

Your consumer rights cannot be waived by these Terms.

19.6 Limitation Period

Any legal action must be initiated within the limitation period prescribed under:

  • The Limitation Act, 1963

  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019

  • Any other applicable law

Generally, consumer complaints must be filed within 2 years from the date of cause of action.

19.7 Class Action Waiver
